Concussion prt. 1

Psh!!! all I could see was black! black,black and more black it looked as if it was a infinite space of just the color black... I woke up, I heard kids yelling to get noon aides. "LABARRE?!? R U OK?!?" I could hear it these voices faintly. Scotty Fieldmeir kneeled at my side "Who is the president right now??" I hesitated then thought and it was Barack Obama... Mr.Hill picked me up and put me in a wheel chair I was wheeled too the office I was passed out. I woke up with mrs.juriga on the phone with my mom and a kid sobbing in mr. hills office. I remembered nothing. I took a closer look at the kid who was crying, he was walking out of mr hills office sobbing and screaming. All I could hear was  screaming. I took a really close look at the kid. It was 6th grader Nick Johnson. He was screaming " I AM SORRY LABARRE! I DID NOT DO THIS ON PURPOSE I PROMISE, I SWEAR!!" Mrs. Juriga asked him to go take deep breaths and calm down, he screamed at her... "I JUST WANT JACOB TO BE OKAY!!"

SELMA

I REALLY WANT TO GOO SEE A MOVIE CALLED SELMA IT IS ABOUT MARTIN LUTHER KING!! IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AMAZING!! I REALLY WANT want to go see it it is going to be amazing it is about how one man can change the world forever!!! I can't even physically describe how excited I have to go see this movie!!

WRITING IS POWER

I I really love writing. It is a very good way to spend your time and inspire other people to write too.Mr. Joseph always says writing is power and I believe him.And I know he says it's for a reason. sorry I did not have enough time to write a full post :(

Wonder Literary Essay

Hi, i'm Jake LaBarre when I read Wonder I was astounded. I can't even describe how much pain I would be going through if I had a facial deformity. It would be soooo hard for example to even walk through Kroger without at least 50 faces staring at you! I really thank August for perservering the pain and hate he is going through. I can't even phiscally descibe in words how much hatred is sent his way!!

I'm growing up in a peaceful sunny, windy, snowy and rainy state named Michigan. But August on the other hand is growing up in NYC (New York City). A VERY BUSY PLACE! They call New York City "the city that never sleeps" for a reason! I think that puts on even more pressure on August as he is growing up with a facial deformity.

I also realized throughout the book how much support they give August. They give him sooo much because they love August ALOT. I mean, every parent loves there kid alot. But think about it, imagine yourself as a kid with lots of disabilities not that auggie has lots of them. But I just think it would be very hard to live life with lots of disabilities. That is why I am very thankful.

I also really help out kids with disabilities for example the kids in Mrs. Fergusons class. I don't like Alex better then Daylan or something like that. I like all of them  equally thats what is important, they all make me laugh very hard! I really like spending time with these kids and would love to continue doing that...

I really had a fun,emotional,greatful and awesome time reading wonder. I really hope they continue writing awesome books like wonder. I also am looking forward to reading the squeal to wonder: The Julian Chapter! I really appreciate my time with the kids in Mrs. Fs class!

Legos

When I was about 6&7 I used to LOVE legos I think it was a good thing to do with your time and it is mostly just really fun. But then something hit me, it was like a voice inside my head was saying: "These Legos are for toddlers & little kids!" That voice I heard, I heard it when I was about 9 1/2. But now that my four year old brother likes Legos ALOT I have been playing sometimes with him. But today I was for some reason really really interested in the small bricks and mini figures. I thought: "WHERE HAVE I BEEN FOR THE PAST YEARS?!? I LOVE LEGOS!!!" So now I am asking for some Legos for my birthday and started a collection on my bedroom shelf... Looking forward to playing with Legos!!

Bahamas

my family and me are going to the Bahamas in February it is going to be very fun! it'll be lots of ocean between the Bahamas in United States also pools versus women and lots of fun things to do in the Bahamas! I can't wait till I start because it will be so fun to enjoy some time with my family and really enjoy holiday break! can't wait!!!

Twitter is one of the most used social media websites in the world. Also it is very good for school blogs for example this blog I post on Twitter. really cool you can have followers and you "tweet". It is  a popular website. I Twitter should go on for a long time because it is a good example of how you can share with you what you're doing with your life! Twitter is awesome!!!
